Chicago Was On Fire!

The Fest for Beatles Fans was nuthin' but a good time (wrong band, I know.)
It is time to share some highly professional pictures (credit to my husband) of my talented author friends. In case you don't know these authors, it's time you get acquainted! This is also a great time to mention that Christmas is just around the corner ... so ANY of these books would be treasured gifts (and you will make our holiday special, too.)
There were so many people that I enjoyed chatting with at The Fest, too many to list, but it was indeed a memorable weekend. Read on!
Robert Rodriguez and Lanea Stagg - The Fest for Beatles Fans
Chicago, Illinois

Check out the Rebeat Magazine article by the lovely Erika Abrams who explains why this was the Best Fest yet!

You can also read more about it (with pictures) at this link from The Fest:

Let me introduce to you these FAB "Paperback Writers:"

JIM BERKENSTADT aka The Rock and Roll Detective

Jim Berkenstadt, author of "The Beatle Who Vanished"
I had the privilege of sitting next to The Detective and what a blast it was! Jim has an exquisite sense of humor and he knows more celebrities than he can even count. Read more about him and his intriguing book about Jimmie Nicol.

Wow .... this gentleman is completely charming and for good reason he was voted the "Hottest Man of The Fest" by an underground pollster.

Ivor Davis, author of "The Beatles and Me - On Tour"

In the summer of 1964, the young British reporter was given the assignment of a lifetime ... to report on The Beatles' first tour of the U.S. His book is mesmerizing! Ivor is a featured author at Beatles at the Ridge and he will be on my radio show September 9 to chat about it! (here's the link):

Jill Davis, author of "A, B, See The Beatles!"

Newcomer Jill Davis, the latest author to join The Fest, brought her gorgeous children's book which pays homage to the lads from Liverpool. Whimsical illustrations, rhyming couplets and hidden references make the book as enjoyable for adults as it is for children. For an interactive experience, songs are highlighted in the book to encourage sharing the music with kiddos as well.
Perfect children's gift for Christmas!
