Meet Sara Schmidt....For Real!

Meet Sara Schmidt, the real school teacher who took her passion for The Beatles to a new level by creating a fan-friendly blog that celebrates historical pictures & stories about the Fabs. I found an immediate connection to Sara once she told me that she created the blog to get her mind off of various troubles. Creativity (not to mention The Beatles) is a perfect way to let your mind be free from stress & I applaud this young renegade for doing so. She not only created this "book" of knowledge for herself, but has made this knowledge available to the world.

Sara will talk more about her blog on my radio show tomorrow & I'm also going to nudge her to share some stories that are truly magical. Catch us tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. CST - go to this link:

If you can't listen live, you can hear the show anytime after we record. Use the same link.

Congratulations to my friend, author of The John Lennon Series, Jude Southerland Kessler, who begins her weekly gig at Blog Talk Radio, tonite at 9:00 p.m. EST. Jude welcomes as her first guest, brilliant author, Dr. Kenneth Womack, who will discuss his recent book The Beatles Encyclopedia: Everything Fab Four!

One of my Abbey Road on the River friends, NASA genius & musician, Maggie Masetti, sent me this wonderful link to the new recording by her band "Naked Singularity," which was on a past episode of Recipe Records Radio Show. The Abbey Road on the River Beatles festival inspired Maggie to write the song:

My Music Nugget for the Day:
Life has thrown some rocky punches lately & this music tidbit spoke to me yesterday.... enjoy Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech ... one of the first "super-groups"

Another side note in my mention of Blind Faith ... I used to have a cat named Ginger & one named Baker (remember Kath?) Rock on...
